I’m a freelance cellist, composer, string arranger and vocalist who enjoys many different styles of music! Classically trained, I graduated with 1st class degrees from the Guildhall School of Music and Drama (MMus in Advanced Solo Performance) and University of Oxford (MA in Music) and received several competitive scholarships and awards, including selection as a ‘Britten Pears Young Artist’ in 2019, a Countess of Munster Award, Guildhall Scholarship, Royal Academy of Music Postgraduate Scholarship and a Ruth Waddell Prize Bursary for String Players. As a cellist I have collaborated with numerous award-winning artists and ensembles to critical acclaim, in performance and recording projects across the UK and internationally, including: Djrum, Bicep, Lisa Hannigan, stargaze, Jherek Bischoff, Amanda Palmer, Kaleida, Phronesis, Femi Temowo, Sonny Johns, Talvin Singh, Fini Bearman, Tom Hewson, Huw Warren, Tanita Tikaram, Tom Cawley, James Maddren, Robin Mullarkey, Simon Roth, Kate Williams, Georgia Mancio, The Guastalla Quartet, Ingrid Jensen, Alice Zawadzki, Stef Conner, Sarah Dacey, Juice Vocal Ensemble, Dan Samsa, Shruti Haasan, London Contemporary Orchestra (Guest Principal) Engines Orchestra (Principal Cello), United Strings of Europe (Guest Principal), Britten Pears Contemporary Ensemble (Principal Cello), North Sea Radio Orchestra (Guest Principal), Terra Collective, Spindle Ensemble, Mesadorm, Lydia Ainsworth, Blossoms, Parcels, Labrinth, Joseph Salvat and Charlotte Church. As a composer and singer-songwriter I have performed my own music across the UK and Europe, and been commissioned to compose soundtracks for dance, film and theatre.
